The Iowa Department of Economic Development (IDED) is committed to supporting the vibrancy of Iowa’s developing entrepreneurial community. The IDED’s Innovation and Commercialization Division coordinates Iowa’s efforts in the biosciences, information technology, and advanced manufacturing industries. Their mission is to grow Iowa’s economy by fostering entrepreneurship and supporting the workforce, commercialization, and marketing activities of these industries.

The IDED and its many partners provide critical resources in support of Iowa’s developing entrepreneurial community overall, and especially within the targeted industries of biosciences, information technology, and advanced manufacturing.

We ask you to join us in our efforts to provide the best possible resources to Iowa entrepreneurs by taking approximately 10 minutes to fill out a brief survey. Your opinions are very important! Your critical feedback will impact the range of services, opportunities and resources the IVCEC is able to offer to Iowa entreprenuers in the future.

About 175 Brave Sub Zero Weather to Attend Jobs Forum in St. Louis

Many dug out of snow drifts and bundled up due to temperatures well below zero on Saturday to attend the Tri-State Jobs & Economic Development Forum in St. Louis hosted by USDA Rural Development  (RD) and Farm Service Agency (FSA) of Illinois, Iowa and Missouri.  The forum was held in conjunction with the Missouri Governor’s Conference on Agriculture.
